New e-Performance Appraisal System Launched
SteelAsia’s e-Performance Appraisal has been launched to track performance evaluation (including feedback and rating) of the company’s employees (starting with the full 2015 Performance Appraisal Exercise).
The new e-Performance Appraisal system was conceptualized and initiated with the endview of making the performance review process more accurate, faster and innovative.
Through the collaboration of Corporate HR and IT, old forms were reviewed and updated, with performance review processes and accountabilities programmed into an online system that auto-computes the total score based on the appraiser’s individual performance factor ratings and competency weightage. The system also has sections for appraiser’s feedback and comments on employee’s performance and a section to identify training needs. A section to justify recommendation for promotion is also available.
The system also promotes individual e-learning with an embedded link on its homepage, along with a presentation (in pdf) on Performance Management. The system uses the Timekeeping system login details. The new e-Performance Appraisal homepage.
