Occupational Health Nurse

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintains medical and other related records of employees.

  • Administers first aid treatments and provides medications for employees as necessary.

  • Conducts and formulates health programs.

  • Aids injured employees to the nearest hospital/clinic.

  • Monitors stocks inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies from time to time.

  • Assesses DOLE standards and implementing plans for company compliance.

  • Aids in the investigation of accidents or injuries occurring in the workplace.

  • Accommodates in the processing of employee sickness and maternity benefits, and other HMO-related concerns.

  • Ensure the preparation, checking, consolidation and submission of work-related reports.

  • Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferably a Registered Nurse.

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Preferably with Basic Occupational Health & Safety Training (DOLE and OHNAP).
