Last March 22, 2023, LinkedIn awarded SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation with the “Best Talent Acquisition Team” Award 2022. This award exemplifies how SteelAsia actively acquired talent using the LinkedIn platform.

The 2022 LinkedIn Talent Awards recognize companies leading the future of work by demonstrating remarkable adaptability, innovation, and creativity throughout one of the most challenging years for talent.

The Best TA Team award recognizes the company’s proficiency in the usage of LinkedIn’s Recruiter Corporate account. The criteria include Average team InMail acceptance rate, profiles viewed, profiles saved (for pooling), searches performed, and Average Team active days.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company continued to actively hire employees in preparation for its expansion plans. The HR team in 2022 was ably led by Shiela Punasalan, AVP for HR, with Talent Acquisition Team members Ivy Marie Tolentino and Kathleen Concepcion.
